Find out where the candidates stand on the issues of JOBS, WAGES, HEALTHCARE & EDUCATION.
The public is invited to a candidates forum with the candidates for congress and state senate on Tuesday, August 12, from 7-9 pm at the Schmidt Training & Technology Center at Reading Area Community College. The Schmidt Center is located on Front Street between Penn and Washington. Free parking is available across from the center on Front Street and in the garage at Front and Washington.
Spanish translation will be available.
Invited Candidates
Jim Gerlach, Bob Roggio - running for congress in the 6th district
Joe Pitts, Bruce Slater - running for congress in the 16th district
Mike O'Pake, Steve Fuhs - running for state senate in the 11th district
We, the Berks County Green Party of Berks County, Pennsylvania, a grassroots organization of citizens, are working together to foster a government in which everyone's voice is heard. We are creating an alternative to a two-party system by encouraging proactive democracy and educating the community on social, economic, and environmental issues.
