The June 2010 Minutes submitted by Jessica Ashman:Minutes of the June 7th, 2010 Berks County Green Party Meeting Good Eatz Cafe 701 Penn Ave. West Reading, PA 6:30 PM Meeting Called to Order at 6:42 PM Present: Shirley Fisher, Matthew Hartzell, Jessica Ashman (Dave Kurzweg had to leave early due to an Act 147 Meeting.) I. Collecting Signatures for Mel Packer A. Upcoming Events to Petition 1. June 12th - Trash Pick Up - Blue Marsh Canteen 9am a. Shirly and Jessica will be attending, and will try to collect signatures before and after event. 2. Fairgrounds Farmers Market - every Saturday, Reading. a. After trash pick up, Shirley and Jessica will collect signatures outside of the market building. 3. Arts on the Avenue, Penn Ave., West Reading, June 19th. a. Shirley and Dave may be attending this event, by either walking the street or setting a table up in front of Good Eatz Cafe. b. Dave is going to talk to owner of Cafe. c. Jessica recalls collecting many signatures at this event when she ran for Clerk of Courts. II. Our Main Priority A. Collecting signatures for Mel to get on the ballot from now until August 1st. B. We will keep contact via phone and email letting each other know of good events where we can collect signatures. Meeting adjourned at 6:56 PM. Jessica Ashman Secretary |
